If we are going to come even close to reaching 100% Renewable Energy by 2030 we have to act fast - our window of opportunity is closing.

That being said - it does not matter whether it's a fracked gas power plant or a clean solar farm, no development that will have major impact on a community should be made without thoroughly informing and engaging the residents.

We should not be plopping solar farms on valuable farm land - we need to make use of impervious surfaces for solar panels: Trash cans, shopping malls, parking lots, etc... are all places we can collect solar energy without impacting the scenery of rural areas.
